The usual characters in my fanfiction don't belong to me. I only claim the original ones.

All rights to things BTVS or ATS belong to Joss Wheddon and Mutant Enemy and anyone else to whom such rights have been granted. Sadly, I'm not one of them. If I were, Spike wouldn't have suffered so much, and Buffy would have seen the light a long time ago.

All I'm doing is taking Joss up on his suggestion that fans who miss the show should spend the time writing fanfiction.
