I loved this story. It was perfect. It
took me awhile to get through it but it was perfect. I'm
going to bookmark this as a favorite.

What a lovely ending to a wonderful story.
I was by turns, horrified and smiling at the antics of
all the characters. The Carnolans are just
facinating--you did an excellent job fleshing them out from
one-dimensional monster-of-the-week to a living society.
Loved your idea of WR&H and that wrapped up very well.
Super plots and dialogue. You well deserve lots of
wins for this story.

This was really great. I like how it is in Buffy's point of view. I also like how she misses
Spike and broke up with Angel. I don't have anything about the Angel and Buffy relationship but I like Spike and
Buffy alot more. This is my first time in this website (I've been desperate ever since I read all the BtVS
books at the public library) and I know it won't be my last time. This chapter was awesome.

Death is everywhere in this & the last
chapter. Buffy thinks the rest are dead...she thinks is
dead/dying...Spike, Angel & Wes think each other are
dead...Spike & Angel think Buffy is dead...Wes thinks
Gina is dead...I refuse to think anyone is dead. Well...I
will happily take the Ram, The Hart & the Wolf for
dead...permanently. You have me on the edge of my seat
waiting to find out what the ramifications of all of
this death, thoughts of death & dying will be...but more
importantly what living will mean. Then...there is
Buffy's spell...gotta know what is happening there
too...is Buffy dying like she thinks she is? Can Wesley have
Gina back now? Needless to say...I am looking forward
to the next chapter. Thanks for the new chapter.

you have a cunning plan (m'lord) to work out that
minor glitch, now that the SP's have been dealt

You really have things kicking in these
last chapters. You have me kinda uncertain about what
exactly happen to Spike, Angel & Wes...better not be dead
or dust...please. I feel pretty confident along with
Buffy that it is all an illusion by The Hart. I love
how you have Spike's voice & words give Buffy strength
to overcome her grief & weakness to take out the Hart.
It was getting a bit scary there at the end. Now about
what is happening to Buffy...evil place to leave
off...you know that right? Yeah...you do. Thanks for the
intriguing last chapters...now give over chapter
29...gotta know if that was really Spike or if Buffy was just
out of it...gotta know what happens next.

Ahh, it *was* all an illusion. Of course,
now Buffy's bleeding to death so I'm not totally
convinced the situation has improved. I'm *fairly* sure
you wouldn't actually kill off all 4 of the main
characters, but I'll be waiting anxiously to see how you work
this out!
Thanks for the update-- it would have been awful to
read that last chapter without having the at least
glimmer of hope I get from this one!

An intriguing chapter to say the least. I'm sitting firmly in
denial land at the minute, totally convinced that the "windows" aren't really
windows at all, more like magical widescreen TV's where the SP's can project
their own illusions. I could be wrong of course, but until I have proof to the
contrary I'm not going to believe it. Not that I would be particularly upset if
Angel died... and to be honest Angel's loving attitude seemed at odds with his
earlier stalkerish behaviour, but I'm sure you wouldn't do that to Wes or Spike,
well, not permanently at any rate. |

Excellent work, once again! I love the way
this story is headed. The plot is fairly intricate,
but not convoluted, as some stories tend to become.
I like Willow's hypothesis about Spike being a male
Slayer because he was linked to Buffy. Most stories
don't give any reason why he would be superhuman.

What could possibly go wrong? I'm sure
you'll think of something, even if it's just Angel pouting
like a three-year-old because he's not in charge... Or
is that my Angel rather than yours?
It could be my memory as well, but did we ever find
out whether he knew about Buffy's memories being
affected, or whether he was involved? For a while at least
that situation definitely worked to his advantage. All
lots of fum little elements in the mix...

I really really like this chapter. It may
be short but it is oh so very sweet. I like the way you
had Buffy trailing Wes which kept me wondering &
trying to guest what was up. I like the unexpected twist of
Wes meeting Angel in the alley. I like that delicious
reveal of the other memory tinkering Angel did to
Buffy...sorry that Buffy was hurt by Angel's actions once
again though. I like that Wes was big enough & smart
enough to give Angel a chance. I like that Angel did
not make like a big dummy & pass it up. I like that
Buffy could see the sense in enlisting Angel's help
despite her hurt. I am curious as to whether Buffy will
confront Angel about what she learned or just let it stay
in the past. I like the way Buffy presents her reason
for allowing Angel's involvement to Spike. Finally, I
oh so love Spike's last line paired with Spike's
"innocent" expression. This is going to be fun. Yes, I must
admit to being spoiled cause all I think to say other
than thank you
for the new chapter is...I want more.

Another great chap, short but great, I like
the way Angel got worked back into the plot but
without the opinion of Buffy of Spike in reguards, if you do
bring Angel into this it's going to be great having
him battle with Spike (verbally), much like the final
season of Angel. Wonderful writing and a very intresting
turn on the plot develepment. You're a wonderful
writer.

Great writing skills. I love the way you
slowly have worked Spike back into his old self as
opposed to the revived, human, self concious form. I think
you pretty much got him back to geunine Spike a couple
chaps ago but his essen is really comming out now, and
he's using the poofter for angel again. Thanks for
supplying the fiction world with such a great plot and
character development.

I'm really enjoying this. I love how I
never know where the plot is going or what will happen to
the characters from one chapter to the next! Also, in
this chapter, I really liked your vivid description of
the excruciating sound - poor Spike! And poor Buffy,
powerless to help him.
One minor criticism (which in no way spoils my
enjoyment, BTW). Sometimes your exposition feels a little
clunky to me, as if it's too neat and therefore stands
out from the action and flow of the rest of your
narrative (as when Buffy and Willow rather quickly work out
why Spike is not quite human).
I hope you don't mind me saying this. I really do love
your stories and I wouldn't want to discourage you in
any way.

taken away. And I'm extremely impressed by your usage
of the present tense. Not many people can write that
way and as far as I've noticed you haven't switched
tenses at all. I hope you're still working on this and

Ahhheeeee...can't believe you ended the
chapter there...pure torture. Should have known that
everything was going way too smooth for Spike. Poor Spike
can't catch a break. Poor Buffy can't seem to help
either. I really like the possible Slayer connection to
Spike. Pure Spike to not care why just that he can be
of use to Buffy. Liked the talk between Willow & Buffy
too. Can't wait for the next chapter to hopefully end
my torture.

story so far. It's interesting to see how you incorporate
some of the Buffy canon into your own original
version. I knew Spike had preternatural powers for a reason,

Love it! Couldn't stop reading it once I
started. I love the way you brought Spike back as a
Spike human w/ strength and all memories and not a
William human. I love that Buffy and Spike didn't
immediately "live happy ever after" and Buffy had to win Spike
a bit. Great plot with the Senor Partners and
Crinolians. Wonderful plot, characterization, and just
